Do you have a compassionate approach to working with people? Are you committed to understanding peoples needs and using evidence-based practice to help people to flourish?We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Clinical Specialist to join us to support the delivery of high quality, person-centred support to improve the quality of life of adults with learning disabilities. You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within services and will also be part of our Therapeutic Services team, comprising of Applied Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.

This role is within two of our small residential homes, based in Thorne (South Yorkshire) and Scunthorpe (Lincolnshire). However, travel to other Hesley Group services will be required for team meetings and based on service needs.

This is a full time role (part time will be considered)

We are looking to recruit people who have: Enthusiasm for engaging autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities in planning their own futures.Extensive Experience in working with autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities.Extensive Experience in collaborative approaches to working with behaviours of concern and reducing restrictive practices MSc in PBS/ABA or equivalent, with an in-depth understanding of the principles and application of PBS.Extensive Experience of carrying out behavioural and skills assessment and interventions, and in implementing PBS in MDT settings Extensive Experience in coaching, training and supporting staff.
