Through a therapeutic and practical approach to education, you will help students achieve meaningful outcomes linked to independence, employment, community participation, and health and wellbeing.

You will plan and deliver creative learning experiences, monitor and assess student progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and work collaboratively with Tutor Assistants, Support Workers, families and multidisciplinary professionals. The role requires a flexible and innovative approach, with opportunities to extend learning beyond the classroom through community-based activities, independence training and work-related experiences. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support, enabling them to achieve their goals and move towards positive futures.

Excellent planning, assessment and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a diverse range of learning needs. A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, is essential. Experience within a SEND, specialist or further education setting would be advantageous.
