We're looking for an organised, analytical and detail-focused Contracts Co-ordinator to join our Business Development team and play a key role in supporting the commercial success of Hesley Group. This is more than an administration role. It's an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of life-changing specialist services by ensuring contracts, funding arrangements and critical business information are accurate, compliant and effectively managed. Your work will directly support our ability to provide outstanding care and support for the people we support.

Your role

Reporting to the Head of Contracts, you will provide high-quality administrative, data and coordination support across our Business Development team. You will help manage contractual information, support annual fee reviews, maintain accurate records and databases, and work closely with colleagues across Finance, Operations and Business Development. You'll be responsible for ensuring contracts, funding arrangements and associated documentation are accurate, up to date and appropriately maintained. The role will also involve producing reports, analysing data, monitoring key contract milestones and supporting the smooth administration of commercial processes across the organisation.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills. You will be confident working with spreadsheets, databases and detailed information, with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure a high degree of accuracy in everything you do. You may already have experience in contracts administration, finance, commercial support or business administration. You'll be proactive, dependable and keen to learn, with the ability to build positive working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

Essential experience, knowledge and qualifications

  • Experience working in an administrative, business support, finance, data led office-based role.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, databases or spreadsheets and checking detailed information for accuracy.
  • Experience producing professional correspondence, reports or documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to organise, analyse and present data.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and information governance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Desirable experience

  • Experience within contracts, procurement, commercial, finance or legal administration.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards or automated spreadsheets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data validation.
  • Experience supporting fee reviews, invoicing processes or financial reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of contract management processes, including amendments, variations and renewals.
  • Experience within health, social care, education, local government or NHS environments.
  • Experience using reporting or database tools such as Microsoft Access or Power BI.
  • An interest in developing a career in contracts, commercial administration or business management.
