The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within the services and you will also be part of our large Therapeutic Services Team, comprising Behaviour Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Speech and Occupational Therapists, all working alongside clinical assistants. You will also work very closely with our Participation Team who ensure as an organisation we are involving the people we support at every level.
Our therapists make a key contribution to our capacity to provide effective person-centred positive behaviour support. This role will be challenging but rewarding, with the opportunity to have a real impact on improving the lives of people who use our services. You will provide a service to the individuals who live within the group and to ensure that each person's communication needs are met within a Positive Behavioural Support framework.
You will work to support individuals within the service to develop skills to enable them to become more independent and able to live a lifestyle of their choosing. You will also be able to support with the management of individuals' safe eating and drinking experiences.
Hesley Group is looking for a dedicated individual to join the company as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist. You will have a Speech and Language Therapy professional qualification, and a current professional registration with HCPC. Ideally, you will have knowledge of learning disability and/or autism, associated mental health difficulties and Dysphagia but this can be dependent on the grade of the role that you are applying for.
You will actively provide support and professional advice to other members of the team and all other stakeholders. We are seeking a dynamic, resilient and motivated individual who can demonstrate a commitment to an evolving service and delivering effective and evidenced service initiatives.
