We are recruiting for a Sous Chef to support the delivery of daily meals for the people we support at Low Laithes, Barnsley. This post requires an organised individual who will have "hands on" catering input, to ensure customer expectations, food, hygiene and quality standards are met. The Sous Chef will need to be flexible and creative as well as able to follow clear menu plans. We will consider part time and flexible working.
About You
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of food hygiene.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of customer expectations and commercial demands.
- Relevant qualification in catering at NVQ level 2 (or equivalent).
- Compliance to HACCP and COSHH, documenting accordingly.
- Oversee and maintain stock levels and ordering of new supplies, liaising with suppliers as required.
