We’re looking for an Activity and Engagement Facilitator to bring energy, imagination and support to our adult residential service. In this role, you’ll help the people we support create and enjoy activity plans that are theirs—designed around their interests, strengths, goals and dreams.
As our new Activity & Engagement Facilitator, you will:
- Support people to design, develop and evaluate their own occupational and leisure activity plans.
- Work in a designated area of Meadow View as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team.
- Bring activities to life in accessible, creative and meaningful ways — both within the service and out in the community.
- Help people build skills, confidence, self-expression and self-esteem through diverse and fulfilling experiences.
- Work some evenings and weekends as part of a rota… because the best moments don’t always happen nine-to-five!
About You
You’re the kind of person who sees possibility everywhere, loves bringing ideas to life, and isn’t afraid to get involved in arts, crafts, music, games, sensory sessions, outdoor trips — or a good bit of dancing in the kitchen!
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience supporting people with autism and/or learning disabilities, and understanding barriers to meaningful activity.
- Familiarity with key health and safety responsibilities.
- Skills or qualifications to deliver specific activities (e.g., rebound therapy).
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent diploma.
- A current driving licence and have 2 years driving experience.
