The Role
As Deputy General Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a large, high-volume premium restaurant, working alongside the General Manager to drive standards, develop your team and create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a natural host who loves being on the floor, engaging with guests and leading from the front.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a large, high-performing team
- Driving exceptional service and guest experiences
- Maintaining outstanding food, service and operational standards
- Creating a vibrant, energetic atmosphere throughout the restaurant
- Coaching, motivating and inspiring your team to perform at their best
- Building strong relationships with guests and driving repeat custom
- Supporting the GM with the commercial and operational performance of the restaurant
- Helping shape the continued evolution and growth of the business
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, charismatic and commercially-minded hospitality leader with a proven track record in a premium, fresh-food restaurant environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience managing a large, high-volume quality restaurant
- Proven experience leading and developing large teams
- Outstanding front-of-house and guest engagement skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire
- A natural ability to build relationships and make guests feel genuinely valued
- The ambition to push boundaries, learn and progress within a growing business
