Role: HR Manager – Hotels / Hospitality

Location: Northampton area

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

We are recruiting for a passionate HR Manager who will thrive in a hospitality environment and creating outstanding workplace experiences.

This role requires a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to guide and coach Heads of Departments and help shape the company culture and support the management team in delivering excellence.

In this standalone role, you\’ll lead the HR function within a hotel operation, working closely with the General Manager and Heads of Departments to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent. You will also be supported by the wider HR team within the company.

What you\’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring every new starter feels welcomed and set up for success.
  • Play a key part in supporting and coaching managers on Employee Relations, performance, and absence management.
  • Oversee payroll input, rota accuracy, and workforce planning.
  • Drive performance and talent reviews, and promote development opportunities.
  • Deliver training sessions and ensure compliance across HR processes (right-to-work, visas, training).
  • Lead Engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and staff forums.
  • Provide insights through people metrics to support business decisions.

What we\’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years\’ HR experience at Advisor level or above (hospitality or retail preferable).
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified as minimum or equivalent experience.
  • Confident communicator with strong coaching and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for people, culture, and delivering a great employee experience.
