ROLE: HR Advisor LOCATION: Carlisle SALARY: £30k to £34k We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join an impressive hospitality company in their hotels sector. The desirable candidate will have HR advisory experience across the full employee lifecycle and be a part of the hotel’s senior leadership team. The role: * Support all levels of managers with recruitment and onboarding, with a focus on ensuring the company values and vision is focused on in the recruitment process. * Proactively drive training and development of team members and managers, ensuring all training is completed and apprenticeships are advocated, as well as driving engagement within the teams to support employee retention. * Provide guidance and support to managers and employees through coaching and mentoring on HR-related matters. * Lead on end-to-end ER cases as and when required, including absence management, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and gross misconduct. * Produce updates for quarterly people reviews for the Teams, with the HR Partner and General Manager, highlighting trends and recommend solution focussed actions * Support the General Manager and senior management with weekly payroll forecasts, reviewing of rotas and support with monthly payroll management. The Candidate we are looking for: · You will be an experienced HR professional with minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR role. · You will have had experience managing ER cases end to end, from disciplinaries to absence management and gross misconduct. · Have a passion for training and employee engagement processes, any mental health first aid experience is also desirable. · Experience managing Payroll and general HR administration · Experience of the full recruitment and onboarding cycle for new employees. · Completion of CIPD Level 5 or above.
