We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Head Chef to lead a busy, high-volume daytime bistro in Newbury on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a quality-focused kitchen where fresh ingredients, great food and a field-to-fork philosophy are at the heart of the operation – all without the late nights!
The Details
Contract: November 2026 – January 2027
Pay: £19.23 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Opening Hours: 8am–4pm
Location: Newbury
Christmas closure: The business is closed from 25th–27th December , giving you a break over the Christmas weekend.
What We're Looking For
An experienced Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
A genuine passion for fresh, quality ingredients and field-to-fork cooking.
Experience managing a busy, high-volume kitchen.
A hands-on leader who can motivate a team and maintain exceptional standards.
Someone who thrives on delivering great food consistently, even during the busiest services.
