The Role
As Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a large, high-volume premium restaurant, working alongside the General Manager to drive standards, develop your team and create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a natural host who loves being on the floor, engaging with guests and leading from the front.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and developing a large, high-performing team
Driving exceptional service and guest experiences
Maintaining outstanding food, service and operational standards
Creating a vibrant, energetic atmosphere throughout the restaurant
Coaching, motivating and inspiring your team to perform at their best
Building strong relationships with guests and driving repeat custom
Supporting the GM with the commercial and operational performance of the restaurant
Helping shape the continued evolution and growth of the business
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, charismatic and commercially minded hospitality leader with a proven track record in a premium, fresh-food restaurant environment.
You'll ideally have:
Experience managing a large, high-volume quality restaurant
Proven experience leading and developing large teams
Outstanding front-of-house and guest engagement skills
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire
A natural ability to build relationships and make guests feel genuinely valued
The ambition to push boundaries, learn and progress within a growing business
