The successful candidate will be a confident, hands-on leader and oversee the daily operation of a high volume, high-quality contemporary restaurant. The restaurant is a high quality and contemporary operation, yet due to volume can be a fast-paced role requiring someone who thrives in a quality-driven environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver consistently outstanding service. You may also at times support on the events side of the business. The Role Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience while driving commercial performance and maintaining the highest operational standards. You will lead, motivate and develop a dedicated front-of-house team, working closely with the Head Chef and wider management team to deliver seamless service. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operation of a busy, high-quality contemporary restaurant. Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain consistently high standards. Recruit, train, coach and develop the restaurant team. Manage rotas and staff schedules in line with business needs. Monitor stock levels, ordering and cost control. Drive sales through upselling and team engagement. Maintain excellent cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the restaurant. Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving issues quickly and effectively. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and hotel management teams to ensure smooth service. Support the achievement of financial targets, including revenue, labour and gross profit. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Restaurant / Bar Manager within a premium restaurant or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager within a quality hotel Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-volume environment. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labour management and stock control. Passion for outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Calm, professional approach under pressure. Good commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
