We are delighted to be recruiting for an exceptional Spa & Leisure Manager to join a stunning high quality hotel in the Bristol area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Spa management professional with strong leadership skills and commercial awareness to oversee both Spa Treatments and Leisure facilities within a high-quality hospitality environment.
The Role
As Spa & Leisure Manager, you will lead, inspire and develop the Spa Treatments and Leisure teams, creating a professional, passionate and guest-focused environment across the Spa, Gym and Pool facilities. You will ensure the highest standards of service, safety and operational excellence, while driving revenue growth and enhancing the Spa's market presence. You will be fully responsible for overseeing:
- The Spa Treatments department
- The Gym and fitness offering
- The Swimming Pool and wet leisure areas
- All internal Spa & Leisure teams
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting, leading and motivating the Spa and Leisure teams, fostering a professional and positive culture
- Maintaining all health, beauty and leisure operational standards within the Spa, Gym and Pool areas
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety procedures and industry regulations
- Driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies, promotions and upselling opportunities
- Developing and implementing spa marketing initiatives in collaboration with the hotel's sales and marketing team
- Creating packages, seasonal promotions and membership campaigns to increase footfall and retention
- Monitoring KPIs, budgets and performance metrics to maximise profitability
- Tracking attendance and reviewing timetables, schedule adjustments to meet client demand
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of the Spa & Leisure facilities within the wider hotel
- Managing guest enquiries, concerns and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Managing staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, training and ongoing development across Spa & Leisure teams
About You
We are seeking a commercially minded leader with a warm and approachable personality who can build strong relationships with both guests and team members. You will have:
- Solid experience in Spa Treatments and Leisure management
- Proven experience driving sales and achieving revenue targets
- Experience contributing to marketing initiatives and promotional planning
- A genuine passion for health, beauty and wellness
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with high operational standards
