Scargill Infant school is a warm and welcoming two-form entry Infant school that is part of the Hornchurch Academy trust. We have a thriving 48-place nursery at the heart of our community. The Hornchurch Academy Trust is a group of six schools based in Rainham, Upminster and Northfleet within the London Borough of Havering and Kent.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Class Teacher to join our KS1 team. Experience of teaching within KS1 would be an advantage, alongside a secure understanding of early reading, phonics and the development of pupils' independence and learning behaviours.

We are looking for a teacher who has high expectations of all pupils, delivers engaging and purposeful learning and is committed to ensuring every child makes strong progress. You will be a reflective practitioner who is keen to develop your own practice and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
