This role is known for executing the business plan. Through fluid and agile management of the car park and working closely with the cleaning team, you’ll ensure the right car, in the right place, at the right time to ensure customer service flow.
A Day In The Life
Your day will start with a quick review of the fleet. You’ll co‑ordinate with our outsourced cleaning team, ensuring each vehicle is cleaned, inspected and ready for the next customer on time and to Hertz standards. Throughout the day you’ll monitor availability, delete and solve any last minute challenges to keep the operation running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Fleet planning: Ensures fleet volume and mix is available to meet the business requirements on a daily and weekly basis, including prioritisation for gold customers. Communicates the fleet plan to the location and outsource team and works with logistics and other locations to transport vehicles.
- Customer Service: Positively influences the customer service by ensuring the right car is in the right place, at the right time to meet the needs of our customers and positively impact their experience with Hertz. Ensures all customer areas within location are fit for purpose.
- Control owns every dollar. Seeks and incorporates feedback from other departments into daily work/department. Tries out new and untested approaches. Actively seeks out new learning opportunities. Acts with integrity at all times. Provides a positive example; ‘walks the talk’.
- Full UK or EU Driving License.
- Department focus areas include NPS, Utilisation and defleet targets. Successful performance in key areas including outsource budget management.
