Skuld is now looking for an experienced Underwriter to join our Energy P&I team in London.
What you will do:
- Lead underwriting activities within Skuld's Energy P&I portfolio, including Mobile Offshore Units (MOUs) and Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and key industry stakeholders.
- Support new business opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.
- Promote Skuld's products and services to new and existing clients, brokers and markets.
- Stay informed on market developments and provide advice to clients and brokers.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across claims, legal and other specialist functions.
What we are looking for:
- Experience from offshore energy, shipping, marine insurance or a related industry.
- Insurance underwriting experience is desirable, although candidates with relevant operational, technical, legal, broking or energy industry backgrounds will also be considered.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and sound analytical judgement.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge with others.
- Higher education and relevant work experience.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, at a high professional level.
