Job Description As a Supervisor, you will motivate the frontline team to achieve maximum delivery of exceptional customer service and plan to ensure yield opportunities by actively managing fleet volumes and labor resources based on demand. The Supervisor will analyze and continuously improve financial performance by capturing growth opportunities and maintaining low cost levels. The role: Taking the wheel at Hertz CUSTOMER SERVICE Provides world-class customer service, creating a friendly, welcoming experience through personalized interactions. Supports and manages customer queries at the counter. SELLING Demonstrates outstanding selling skills to meet customer needs while identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities to achieve targets daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. Understands the local market and actively delivers on sales opportunities. CONTROL & AUDIT Adheres to company SOPs for all rental and return procedures to ensure full compliance, including control of customer data under GDPR. Ensures rentable standards are met and any damages are documented upon return. Ensures compliance with health & safety, financial audits, and training requirements. FINANCIAL ACUMEN Understands and contributes to the location\’s P&L to maximize profitability. TEAM MANAGEMENT Manages the team daily through one-to-ones, feedback, and support. Celebrates exceptional performance publicly to foster a high-performance culture. FLEET & RESOURCE PLANNING Plans fleet volumes and labor resources in line with demand. Trains team members and collaborates with other departments to develop the location. PROBLEM SOLVING Resolves a variety of issues escalated from the team using Hertz’s proven customer service tools and methods. Qualifications Previous customer service and sales experience essential. Operational experience in a similar environment desirable. Previous supervisory experience desirable. Demonstrates a customer service focus and inspires others to achieve higher levels. Supports team through change and seeks continuous learning opportunities. Understands organizational revenue generation and owns financial outcomes.
