Are you passionate about data, technology, and driving business improvements? We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to help us optimise systems, deliver actionable insights, and support smarter decision-making across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance Business Systems: Maintain, upgrade, and improve core systems (Finance, HR, Customer Service, Asset Management, Planning, Revenues & Benefits).
- Deliver Data Insights: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support strategic decisions.
- Spatial Analysis: Use ArcGIS to provide mapping and spatial data solutions for planning and service delivery.
- Engage & Train: Work with stakeholders to understand needs, provide training, and promote data-driven culture.
- Support Projects: Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Information Systems, Business, GIS, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in Power BI, ArcGIS, or business analysis are a plus.
- Experience in Business Systems Analysis Support.
- Strong skills in Power BI (data modelling, dashboards) and ArcGIS (mapping, spatial analysis).
- Excellent data analysis and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Desirable: Knowledge of local government systems, SQL, APIs, and project/change management.
The post is offered on a full time fixed term contract for 12 months (36 hours per week)
