As a Corporate Policy Officer, you will work closely with senior leaders and elected members, contributing to meaningful change that impacts communities every day. In this role, you will play a key part in turning complex information into clear, actionable insight. From analysing government policy, data and public sentiment to producing high quality briefings and shaping strategic messaging, your work will directly inform decision making at the highest level.

You will support engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, from local partners to national policymakers, while helping to develop and deliver advocacy strategies, speeches and presentations that reflect the Council’s priorities and ambitions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a variety of audiences. Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to policy or public affairs work is essential. The post is offered as a Two Year Fixed Term Contract on a full time basis (36 hours per week).
