Why You’ll Love This Role: As a Full Stack Engineer (L2), you will be a vital part of our mission, working within our Ops Pod. You will focus on the hands-on development of our web and mobile app, helping to create a fantastic, seamless and supportive experience for our customers. This is an individual contributor role, perfect for a developing engineer who is passionate about building high quality products and growing their skillset. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers and designers to deliver impactful features that directly support our users in their Reproductive Revolution. If you are a team player who loves to build, learn, and make a real difference, this role is for you!
Your Team: You will be working in the Ops Pod and reporting to your Technical Lead. You will also work closely with the rest of the Engineering Team (Customer Pod), the Product and Data teams, our Founders and across our whole business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Feature Delivery & Engineering: Collaborate on the end to end delivery of new product features, moving from requirements to implementation and release. Write clean, well tested, and maintainable code. Engage in peer code reviews and pair programming to maintain code quality and learn from the wider team. Participate in technical planning and discussions, contributing ideas to solve problems. Help identify areas for improvement in our codebase and engineering processes.
- Technical Excellence: Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of our core tech stack, especially TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Postgres and React-Native. Gain experience working with our infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, AWS and Github Actions. Apply your knowledge of algorithms and design patterns to build efficient solutions. Utilise debugging tools like Datadog to investigate and fix bugs, ensuring robust error handling.
- Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with your team, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers. Actively participate in team rituals and discussions, and help maintain technical documentation. Share your learnings with the team and be open to receiving feedback to fuel your growth.
What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our remote first Ops Pod. This is a key role for someone passionate about hands on development who is eager to grow their career in a supportive environment.

Flexibility in this Role: We are looking for someone to work with us for 40 hours per week. Our operating hours are between 8am and 6pm from Monday to Friday.

Interview Process:
- Initial Phone Interview: A 15 minute conversation with a member of our Talent Team.
- Technical Experience & Values Interview: A 30 minute call with Maxim (Technical Lead) to explore your technical background, problem solving approach and alignment with our engineering values and ways of working.
- Task & Technical Discussion: You will be asked to complete a short technical task before this stage. The discussion will be held with Jack (Head of Engineering) and Maxim, focusing on how you approached the problem, your decision making process and how you communicate technical concepts.
- Product & Design Collaboration Interview: A 20 minute call with Stacey (Clinical Product Manager) and Mathilde (Senior Product Designer) to understand how you collaborate across Product and Design, communicate in cross functional environments and contribute to a strong team culture.
- Final Interview: A final stage interview will be two parts with a 15 minute conversation with Dr. Natalie Getreu our COO and Co-Founder and a 15 minute conversation with Deirdre O'Neill our CCO and Co-Founder.
