Overview

The Union is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Events Team as a Community Events Coordinator. The post holder will join the Community Events Team and support day-to-day event logistics across a range of events, including social gatherings, cultural celebrations, and academic and employability support sessions. The role is very student-facing and requires the ability to balance multiple large-scale projects while engaging with our diverse student societies.

This role is full time.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day event logistics for a variety of events.
  • Work closely with student societies and ensure events run smoothly from planning to delivery.
  • Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently while maintaining a student-centered focus.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Community Events Team to achieve objectives.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and willing to immerse themselves in a diverse environment.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and student-facing communication skills.
  • Experience or interest in events, student activities, or employability support is desirable.
