Main duties of the job To provide support to mothers , partners and other staff on the ward to ensure the emotional, physical and practical care of babies and monitor developmental progress. To work within MDT in Thumbswood, which is specializing in looking after mothers with perinatal mental health problems.. Ensure care plan is in place after identifying babies needs. To be part of support when working with mothers in their recovery journey Communicate with parents on the unit in a supportive role to aid them in their recovery journey. To support mothers with appointments of their babies and arrange necessary immunizations' for their babies. To be part of Thumbswood team and work together to meet the allocated tasks on shift. To be part of handovers to share the babies progress and challenges To adhere to the details in Job description
