Main duties of the job:
- The post-holder will provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for groups and individuals with moderate to severe eating disorders.
- Offer specialist advice and consultation to clients, their families, carers, and mental health professionals in relevant care settings.
- Supervise, consult and support trainee psychologists/psychotherapists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.
- Work closely with psychological therapy colleagues and colleagues within the wider MDT.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Utilize research skills for audit, policy, service development and research within the area served by the CEDS.
