Warehouse Operator - Temporary Assignment
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Pay Rate: £13.06 per hour
Contract Dates: 5th January - 6th February 2026 (with potential for extension)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:00. Weekend work may be required occasionally.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operators to support operations in a traditional warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role involving the picking and packing of stationery and light furniture for client orders, shelf replenishment, and goods-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking items using a daily pick sheet and trolley
- Packing orders at designated stations for distribution
- Replenishing stock and preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading vehicles and pushing cages onto the lorry ramp (afternoon shift)
- Covering significant distances on foot within the warehouse
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift and move items safely
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
Training
Full training will be provided.
