About The Team
Hertfordshire Equipment Service (HES) provides health and social care equipment to disabled and vulnerable service users and patients across Hertfordshire. From bath boards to hospital beds and grab rails to gantry hoists, the equipment HES provides helps residents remain living independently in their own homes or supports them and their carers by providing the equipment needed to be discharged from hospital.
About The Role
Our service is growing and very much in demand, and we are looking for a technician to join our busy team, delivering and installing items of equipment within clients’ homes. We’re looking for people who can work flexibly and as part of a team here at Hertfordshire Equipment Service, which supports NHS and social care colleagues across seven days. Must be able to drive a 3.5T vehicle and be used to heavy or cumbersome equipment to deliver and fit. The Working Pattern will be Monday to Friday – one Saturday every four weeks and one day off during the week, or paid over time. Or Tuesday to Saturday.

- Full Driving Licence with either D1, C1, C, B or BE category
- Demonstrable practical abilities
- Empathy to provide high levels of customer service
- Experience of installing specialist equipment
- Customer Service Face to Face client interaction
