The Community Review team is a dynamic service that works across the community under the Care Act to safeguard, assess, plan support and review adults and carers with long‑term health and social care needs. About The Role
As Team Manager you’ll lead and inspire the team, ensuring high‑quality practice, strong performance, and effective use of resources. You’ll oversee complex cases, safeguard vulnerable adults, and drive initiatives that promote independence, early intervention and community inclusion. This leadership role involves shaping practice, mentoring staff and influencing positive outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver excellent services.
- Ensure compliance with legislation (Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act).
- Oversee safeguarding investigations and risk management.
- Promote independence, wellbeing and early intervention through person‑centred solutions.
- Manage budgets, resources and performance effectively.
- Build strong partnerships with agencies, communities and carers.
- Drive continuous improvement and workforce development.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
- Registration with Social Work England or HCPC.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Proven leadership experience in health or social care settings.
- Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and safeguarding.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources and staff performance.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and partnership‑building skills.
