You will deliver targeted work with vulnerable young people, leading group work projects and providing one-to-one support. Your role allows you to prevent issues from affecting young people’s daily life, health, development and safety. You will quickly establish positive relationships with diverse groups and respond flexibly to their needs and service priorities.

About you

  • You have a nationally recognised JNC qualification or the ability to complete the JNC higher education qualification.
  • Recent experience of working with young people.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong workload prioritisation and planning ability.
  • Willingness to work regular evenings in line with JNC terms and conditions.
  • Confidence in using ICT.
  • Previous line management experience is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and regular access to a vehicle.

Where the service funds your JNC qualification, the funding is repayable if you leave within two years of post‑qualification.
