Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is a dynamic and forward looking organisation seeking expressions of interest from substantive and competent Firefighters, Crew Commanders, Watch Commanders, Station Commanders and Fire Control Operators who are interested in transfer opportunities to equivalent roles in Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service.

This opportunity is open to personnel wishing to transfer as fully competent firefighters and fire control operators from:

  • Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue OC duty system wishing to transfer to Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue WDS Duty System
  • Local Authority Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) WDS
  • Local Authority OC FRS wishing to transfer to HFRS OC Duty System
  • Ministry of Defence FRS
  • UK fire control organisations, including those that fall under a local authority FRS.
