About The Role
This position requires flexible working arrangements, working for a service that operates 7 days a week, with office, on-site and home working involved, based on the needs of the service.
You will oversee and co-ordinate the daily shift operations for the HertsLynx Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service in North & East of Hertfordshire, including driver management, customer service management and fleet operations.
- Oversee and coordinate driver rotas/shift patterns and ensure the service is fully staffed accounting for holiday and possible sick days.
- Tackling complex operational and logistical issues
- Using a digital technology software to optimise routes and bookings
- Ensuring vehicle maintenance programme is upheld and liaise with the fleet management team to report and organise any repairs that may need to be done.
- Act as main point of contact for customer services, monitoring the customer support inbox and responding to any customer queries via phone or email. Including taking bookings via the phone line.
The DRT Fleet Co-ordinator will be an integral part of the HertsLynx operations, and will contribute to creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Hertfordshire. We are looking for a confident individual, capable of using their initiative to work effectively in some complex and challenging situations.

Essential

- Confident and competent with technology
- Good time management and organisational skills
- D1 licence
