Overview
We are looking for a kind and compassionate Professional Advocate (PA) to support our community staff. You will be a visible role model, aiding and providing restorative supervision to any staff working within our services. This role is pivotal in enhancing staff wellbeing, resilience, and professional development through the A-EQUIP model (Advocating and Empowering for Quality Improvement).
Responsibilities
- Deliver restorative clinical supervision to staff, particularly for staff new to working in the community.
- Support staff with professional and personal challenges, including clinical incidents, team dynamics, stress, and burnout.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across primary, acute, and integrated care settings.
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evaluation of the Professional Advocate service.
- Be a visible leader, providing assurance to community matrons and heads of nursing that staff support is being delivered consistently.
- Have a passion for improving the working lives of staff and the quality of patient care.
