Term Time Only +3 Cleaning Days

Rate of Pay: Β£12.21 per hour (Β£6,044 per annum)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 11.25 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
  • Serve food to students and staff
  • Provide courteous and friendly customer service
  • Demonstrate basic IT proficiency
  • Support the head cook in planning and portioning meals
  • Assist with stock rotation and inventory management
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations
  • Support the Kitchen additional duties as needed during busy times or events
  • Ensure allergen information is correctly displayed, and food preparation follows dietary requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience in catering is required
  • Positive attitude with the ability to be an effective team player
  • Capable of leading and motivating a team
  • Food hygiene level 2 certification (preferred)
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
