We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment, timing belt / timing chain replacements, diagnose clutch faults and replacement, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
- Conduct detailed diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults in equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to guide repair procedures accurately.
- Assist with equipment installation, calibration, and testing to ensure operational efficiency.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required for parts replacement or equipment movement.
- Experience with timing belt and timing chain replacements.
- Experience with clutch fault diagnosing and clutch replacement.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair status clearly and professionally.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
