Actual salary £11,290 - £11,790 p.a. (based on FTE £28,225 - £29,475 p.a.) depending on qualifications and experience.

We are looking to recruit an Industry Placement / Work Experience Coordinator to join the Apprenticeships Team at Hertford Regional College (HRC), based in the Broxbourne Campus, to arrange, co-ordinate and manage Industry and work experience placements for 16-19 cohorts across all Learning areas. This role is based on site for 2/3 days a week.

About The Role:

  • Liaising with Programme Managers, Personal Tutors, and students regarding Industry placement and Work experience requirements.
  • Ensuring students that require industry placement and work experience have secured and completed the requisite hours to meet conditions of funding.
  • Supporting related sessions around group tutorial sessions such as progression to an apprenticeship, employment, and HE to students cross College.
  • Monitoring learner engagement and support both students and employers.
  • Building and maintaining employer networks and secure placement opportunities physically and digitally for students.
  • Consulting effectively with Employers, Programme Managers and Personal Tutors regarding student overall attendance at Industry and work experience placements and student progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the team to develop employer engagement opportunities across different funding streams such as Apprenticeships, HE, Adult Education Budget and Commercial courses.

About You:

  • Experience of working with external providers/employers to build relationships, or within the FE sector or with young people.
  • Educated to at least Grade 'C' GCSE English and Maths - or equivalent - Desirable.
