Salary range and grade: S3 Actual Salary £20,068.20 - £21,211.71 p.a. based on full year worked and depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

  • Provide targeted support to Post-16 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within the specified area.
  • Enable learners to access the curriculum, develop essential numeracy and literacy skills, and receive appropriate support during assessments and examinations.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group support to EHCP learners.
  • Adapt learning tasks and materials to meet individual learner needs and support diverse learning styles.
  • Reinforce lesson objectives and assist learners with mathematical concepts and activities.
  • Promote learner independence through appropriate scaffolding and encouragement.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement effective differentiated strategies.

About You

  • GCSE Maths and English at minimum Grade 4/C or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in learning support.
  • The ability to inspire, engage and support young people.
  • Experience supporting learners with EHCPs, particularly in Maths/English.
