Location: Ware and Broxbourne Campus – Broxbourne, HRT EN10 6AE GB

Salary: £29,992 – £34,792 per annum, plus market supplement of £4,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

Availability: Part‑time – Monday to Thursday – 28.8 hours per week

Holiday: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro‑rata for part time)

About the Role

To support the successful enrolment, delivery, training and achievements of all apprentices on your caseload. This involves the application of effective teaching, learning and assessment practices for all apprentices and ensuring all apprentices achieve timely and overall outcomes on Apprenticeship standards within identified subject areas/specialisms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen employer communications as a central point of contact, including matters such as attendance, punctuality, and progress concerns.
  • Support with external relations including awarding bodies and end‑point assessment organisations.
  • Support with the development of marketing material and information to promote the Hairdressing apprenticeship provision with prospective apprentices and employers.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of all components of an apprentice's journey from the point of enrolment through to timely completion.
  • Work in conjunction with the wider apprenticeship team to ensure new apprentices are enrolled effectively and timely onto their chosen apprenticeship standard.

About You

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in the identified subject area/specialism or willing to work towards within the probationary period.
  • Occupational industry experience in the identified subject area/specialism.
  • IT literate.
