We are looking for a highly motivated and agile Customer Supply Chain Manager to work in the London office managing operations for the Reese’s brand for our European markets. This role sits at the heart of the supply chain, managing external customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of all operations for the region. This involves both the management of the day-to-day relationship from order through to delivery, whilst taking on strategic projects to improve our ways of working internally and externally. This role is a critical component for achieving our business goals, by building strong collaborative relationships and continuously improving processes. A commercial mindset is essential, as this role is responsible for delivery and reporting of the gross sales numbers for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all orders for the Europe region, with the support of an order management team, to ensure OTIF delivery.
- Manage and deliver reporting on regional gross sales performance, ensuring targets are hit and changes are communicated throughout the business.
- Communicate with the planning teams to ensure production and shipments are planned in line with customer requirements.
- Lead robust and timely communication flow with customers for all supply chain related topics, managing operational meetings and data flow for order tracking.
- Respect customer replenishment metrics when discussing the forecast, taking inventory levels, freshness requirements, container utilization, production MOQs, etc. into consideration.
- Monitor forecast accuracy for key customers, ensuring KPI is met and there is minimal supply impact from forecast deviation.
- Manage operations with co-manufacturers and co-packers in the network, ensuring POs are placed and managed through with all sites to ensure OTIF delivery of stock to customer.
- Manage interdependencies between business opportunities and operational plans to achieve deliverables.
- Ideate and manage supply optimisation projects, always working with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Manage slow moving and obsolete stocks, ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills with evidence of stakeholder management internally and externally, at many levels.
- A “can do” attitude and proactive approach to finding solutions with the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and seek out innovative and creative solutions.
- Flexible mindset – this role will have global stakeholders across many time zones.
- Understanding of supply chain principles and concepts.
- Business and commercial acumen and understanding of P&L.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to the S&OP process.
Experience
- Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree or above holder. Preference for candidates with business degrees, but other degrees welcome too.
- Experience: At least 1‑3 years working experience (FMCG industry a plus, but not mandatory). Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
