We are looking for a talented Commercial & IP Solicitor (3-7 years PQE) to join our growing team. You will work with household‑name brands, innovative technology companies, and owner‑managed businesses across a wide range of commercial and intellectual property matters, with increasing exposure to cross‑border projects. Our clients operate in key sectors including technology, software, manufacturing, retail, and other consumer‑facing markets.
You will be involved in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements such as supply and distribution contracts, licensing arrangements, technology and software agreements, and high‑value service contracts. You will also have the opportunity to advise on intellectual property matters, including IP protection, licensing, brand strategy, and IP considerations within commercial transactions.
We welcome candidates who bring either:
- Experience as a commercial lawyer with exposure to (or strong interest in developing expertise within) intellectual property;
- Experience within IP law with a desire to broaden their commercial contracts and transactional skillset.
You will play a key role in delivering clear, practical, and commercially focused advice, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a dynamic and forward‑thinking team. The Ideal Candidate
- 3–7 years of relevant PQE
- Experience gained at a Legal 500/Chambers‑ranked firm or a high‑quality in‑house legal team
- Strong, well‑rounded knowledge of commercial law, with demonstrable experience advising on a broad portfolio of commercial contracts
- Experience in (or a clear desire to develop expertise within) intellectual property, including IP protection, licensing, or IP aspects of commercial transactions
- Ability to work autonomously, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different teams
- Strong client‑facing skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, practical, and commercially focused advice
- A proactive, ambitious and solutions‑focused mindset
