Schedule:
- Days: Monday – Thursday
- Shift: 7 pm – 7 am
- Additional hours may be required due to business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hourly lab tests on finished product package weight.
- Perform statistical averaging of test results.
- Communicate test results to the shift supervisor and other key personnel.
- Operate X‑ray machines to inspect and test products as required.
- Sample product and report results in a timely manner.
- Compile product, package, and ingredient data as required.
- Perform visual quality checks and locate products in the warehouse, production, and storage environment.
- Learn testing processes and operating procedures for quality assurance lab equipment.
- Communicate issues and information between shifts as required.
- Abide by all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies.
- Stand on production floor for 3 hours at a time.
- Enter and track manufacturing data in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, finished goods, and quality control data.
- Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real‑time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
- Other ERP responsibilities as assigned.
Sanitation & Safety:
- Clean and sanitize work areas and food processing equipment.
- Always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing job duties.
- Follow all rules set by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and attend related meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening that tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Good balance on slippery surfaces.
- Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.
Competencies:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
- Must be able to work in a noisy and fast‑paced environment.
