Heron Primary School is looking to appoint a Play Team Member to be part of our lunchtime OPAL team. The successful candidate will be able to create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment that provides social, active and creative play experiences for all but may also be expected to work inside supporting lunchtimes in the hall and classrooms.
We are very proud of our Platinum OPAL status at Heron Primary. Experience of working in a primary school setting is preferable although not essential. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which children play successfully.
The position will be for 7.75 hrs per week worked as follows over five days per week:
- Mon - Thurs 11.45am - 1.15pm
- Fri 11.45am - 1.30pm
You will be working with an excellent team of teachers, governors and support staff who are committed to making our pupils’ educational start the best it can be. We warmly welcome visits to our school. Please contact the office on 01452 415105 to arrange an appointment.
