Heron Foods is offering an exciting graduate opportunity for a Marketing Planning Executive to join our fast-paced and supportive Marketing team at our Store Support Centre in Melton, near North Ferriby. This is an exciting role and perfect for someone at the start of their marketing career who’s looking to get stuck into a wide range of projects and develop hands-on experience in a growing retail business. You’ll work closely with teams from Buying to Store Operations to help plan and deliver promotional activity across our 340+ stores. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the creation and delivery of our trade marketing plan, helping to plan seasonal and promotional activity.
  • Work closely with different departments—like Buying, Merchandising, and Digital—to keep campaigns running smoothly and on time.
  • Assist in coordinating in-store promotional materials and digital content in line with campaign timelines.
  • Help monitor the success of our activity and spot ways we can improve.
  • Ensure campaign details are clearly communicated across teams.
  • Get involved in team meetings, briefings, and planning sessions.
  • Learn how a retail business connects marketing activity with customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree (or soon-to-be graduate) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related subject.
  • Some relevant work experience—this could be an internship, placement year, part-time job, or university project.
