Join an award-winning Group with operations across the UK, Ireland, and Europe supporting users across multiple businesses operating in the Construction, Manufacturing, Property, Energy and Food sectors. This is a hands-on IT Support role within a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be a key member of the IT team, providing first-line support to users across the Group and helping ensure technology enables the business to operate effectively day to day.
You will act as the primary point of contact for IT support queries, resolving issues where possible and escalating appropriately when required. Alongside reactive support, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and improvements that enhance systems, processes and the overall user experience across the business.
What You’ll Do- Provide first-line IT support to end users across multiple Group businesses
- Log, manage and resolve support requests through the service desk
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and user issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Support Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Android and iOS mobile platforms
- Set up, configure and maintain user accounts, devices, and access
- Support onboarding and offboarding of staff
- Maintain accurate support documentation and follow IT processes
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and service delivery
- Contribute forward-thinking ideas to improve how IT supports the wider business
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a user-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Comfortable working in a busy support environment with competing priorities
- Forward-thinking, open to change and willing to suggest improvements
- Reliable, organised, and confident dealing directly with users
- 2+ years experience in an IT support role within a busy environment
- Experience supporting Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Android and iOS mobile platforms
- Business or enterprise systems (ERP etc)
- Experience working with service desk or ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes
- Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Exposure to a wide range of industries and business environments
