We are recruiting for a resident Maintenance Engineer for a world-leading materials automation provider on a Monday to Friday shift pattern. This role offers a competitive salary, which increases after probation, with a benefits package including enhanced holiday and pension contributions and a wellbeing program. Based in a clean automated environment, you will be part of a small engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- This is a highly autonomous role where you will be working with minimal supervision.
- You will be part of a multi-skilled engineering team, completing mechanical and electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on time and to the highest standard in line with customer expectations and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Experience with conveyors, sorters, cranes, robotics or similar.
- Knowledge of PLC / Control Systems, CMMS, WCS/WMS or SCADA.
- Ideally have an Engineering Degree or HND in Electrical / Electronic OR Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or apprenticed trained.
- Relevant sector skills are desirable.
- Strong Electrical Skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to work at height.
- Health and Safety awareness.
