About The Role

Do you love all aspects of design, and want the opportunity to work across three distinctive FMCG brands? As our brands continue to grow, our in-house design team is looking to expand with a new Junior Designer who will play an important supporting role in bringing Deliciously Ella, Organix and Goodies to life across multiple touchpoints. This role will bridge both brand and shopper marketing, offering the focus of an in-house design role alongside the variety of working across three very different brand worlds. It will suit someone with strong creative instincts, a natural eye for layout and composition, great attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creative development process across a broad range of projects and initiatives, ensuring work is driven by brand strategy and underpinned by the relevant brand guidelines.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand briefs, requirements and feedback, helping to create clear design solutions that deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Create images and design assets that identify the brand, communicate key attributes or convey a message across social media, digital platforms, print platforms and physical environments.
  • Support the packaging design process, working alongside the internal design team and, where relevant, external packaging design agencies, artwork and repro partners.
  • Support the organisation and maintenance of the digital asset management system, helping ensure assets are easy to find, up to date and used consistently across the business.
  • Work with printers, suppliers and third parties to help deliver high-quality assets accurately and to specification.
  • Bring ideas, curiosity and creative thinking to the team, while showing a good understanding of when to experiment and when to apply restraint within established brand guidelines.

About You

You’re a creative, curious and enthusiastic junior designer with a Graphic Design degree or equivalent experience, and a genuine love for all aspects of design. You have strong creative flair, a natural eye for layout, composition and visual detail, and are excited by the opportunity to develop your skills within an in-house design team. You’re confident using Illustrator and Photoshop, and keen to keep building your technical design skills. You don’t need to know everything already, but you should be willing to self-teach, ask good questions, take feedback positively and continue developing your craft. You’re organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks at one time, with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills. Just as importantly, you bring energy, tenacity, enthusiasm and an ambitious, team-playing attitude. You’re considerate, respectful and collaborative, with the confidence to communicate clearly with the wider team and the work ethic to make a positive impact day to day.
