Are you a passionate foody, looking for a new challenge and the chance to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Developer (fixed term contract, 9-12 month maternity cover), who will join our Baby and toddler snacks Research and Development team. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our Growing Up Snacking portfolio, working collaboratively to develop delicious and nutritious snacks that support little ones on their food journey. You will be responsible for innovation and renovation projects within our children’s snack category, partnering closely with both our UK team and global colleagues. This role reports directly to the Research and Development Category Manager for Children’s Snacks.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in food development and innovation.
- Self-starter, able to multitask and a great team player.
- Ability to work cross functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- “Can do” mindset to support and challenge internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Adherence to specific children’s food requirements.
Must haves:
- Food science / Technology Degree/ qualification.
- Experience developing successful new and existing foods from concept to launch through stage gate process.
- Great knowledge of recipe development, food production and processing.
- Nutritional knowledge / experience.
- IT competency.
- Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Collaborative team player, able to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage/adapt to change quickly.

- Location: Bournemouth, Dorset. This is a hybrid-working role with some working from home and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office minimum 2 days a week. There is occasional travel involved with this role.
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Part time, also considered for the right candidate.
