Hero Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a respected care provider to recruit experienced Team Leaders for a residential care home in West Molesey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team environment and play a key role in delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to residents. You will take responsibility for shift coordination, ensure care plans are followed effectively, and provide hands-on support to maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. You will be instrumental in promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support care staff on shift
- Coordinate and manage daily shift operations
- Ensure care plans are implemented and updated appropriately
- Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies
- Support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
- Act as a positive role model, promoting best practice in care delivery
About You
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader role within residential care
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) desirable
- Confident in medication administration
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and motivate a team
- Passionate about delivering person-centred care
