About the role

We are looking for an organised, curious and detail-focused Operations Coordinator to join our UK&I Operations team. This is a broad role with exposure across Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Supply, Projects and Innovation. You will support the team with the data, systems, coordination and day-to-day activities that help keep our products moving through the supply chain. It is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to understand how an end-to-end FMCG operation works. The role will evolve over time, with increasing opportunity to support our Demand Planning and Logistics functions in greater depth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing flexible support across the Operations team, including day-to-day operational administration, coordination and reporting.
  • Working with product, customer and supply chain data to keep information accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the set-up and maintenance of new and existing products across our systems.
  • Learning and using SAP, our ERP system, and Arkieva, our Demand Planning tool.
  • Preparing, checking and maintaining data, reports and trackers.
  • Supporting routine order, customer and logistics activities where needed.
  • Helping with projects, product launches and wider team priorities.
  • Identifying data or process issues and working with the team to resolve them.
  • Taking on broader responsibilities as your knowledge and capability develop.

The role is designed to flex around the priorities of the Operations team, so no two weeks will necessarily look the same.

About you

You will be someone who:

  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.
  • Is organised and comfortable managing different priorities.
  • Enjoys working with data and is confident using Excel.
  • Is curious, asks questions and wants to understand how things work.
  • Is comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
  • Communicates clearly and works well with different teams.
  • Is interested in building a career in Operations or Supply Chain.
  • Previous experience in operations, supply chain, data, customer service or administration would be an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP systems, planning tools or FMCG would be an advantage.

What you'll learn

You will gain broad exposure across:

  • Demand Planning
  • Logistics and warehousing
  • Customer Supply and order management
  • Product launches and innovation
  • Product and customer data
  • SAP and Arkieva
  • Cross-functional projects and process improvement

This role probably will not suit you if:

  • You want a narrowly defined role where every week looks the same.
  • You dislike working with data, systems or detailed information.
  • You are uncomfortable switching between different priorities and tasks.
  • You prefer to wait for instructions rather than ask questions and take ownership.
  • You are looking for immediate ownership of a major business area or people management.

We are looking for someone who enjoys getting things organised, learning quickly, spotting what does not look right and making life easier for the wider team. As you develop, we expect the role to take on greater responsibility, particularly across Demand Planning and Logistics.

Development

We see this as an entry point into a broader Operations or Supply Chain career. Depending on your strengths and interests, future development could lead towards Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Supply, Supply Planning, Projects, Systems & Data.

What We Offer
