The predicted salary is between 50000 - 70000 £ per year.

You already know how to bill. The question is whether where you're billing is going anywhere — and whether you'll own any of it when it does.

Hernshead was founded in 2019 on the belief that partnerships are more powerful than placements.

We're now approaching £5m turnover, ranked on the Fast Growth 50, and scaling deliberately — with a defined exit plan that every consultant shares in.

The numbers that matter

Commission up to 40%.

Our average payout this year is tracking close to 30% of billings. No thresholds designed to keep money off your statement, no small print.

Equity with a defined exit.

We operate a Share Scheme with a clear exit plan — every consultant is on track for a minimum five‑figure sum within six years, on top of commission.

You're not just billing for the business; you're building your stake in it.

A business genuinely growing.

Margin up 39%.

NFI per head tracking £150k — and that's across everyone, including new starters and support staff.

We have £500k+ billers in the team and a surplus of clients in the Automation market waiting to be worked.

People stay for a reason.

Average length of service is over three years, and we've picked up multiple award wins along the way.

What you'd walk into

A warm Automation desk in a market we're deeply embedded in, with more client demand than the current team can service.

You'll run your own patch — clients, candidates, processes, P&L — with the autonomy an experienced consultant should expect and the infrastructure of a firm that's investing in scale, not standing still.

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm

Plus funded professional qualifications, high‑end dining experiences and two company holidays a year.

Who this is for

You're billing well but suspect you've hit the ceiling of your current environment — capped scheme, flat growth, or a business with no plan beyond next quarter.

You want to be around other high performers, in a company where scale is actually happening, and where the endgame is defined rather than vague.

Please note this role is only accepting applications from existing recruitment consultants with experience of billing over 200k per year regularly within a 360 environment.
