About this Position: This Material Controller role is responsible for managing supplier contracts and relationships within a fast-paced, advanced automotive environment. Reporting into the Central Testing Operation Manager, the position will support sourcing activities, cost management and supplier performance, working closely with Engineering, Supplier Quality and other internal stakeholders to ensure programme requirements are achieved. Job Responsibilities: * Negotiate and finalise production supplier contracts for assigned commodities. * Mitigate supplier cost increases and identify opportunities to deliver cost reductions. * Work with Engineering and Supplier Quality teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies. * Conduct supplier assessments and coordinate sourcing recommendations. * Ensure suppliers achieve programme targets across timing, cost, quality and technical requirements. * Act as the key point of contact for Supplier Relationship Management activities. * Support risk assessments, total acquisition cost analysis and cross-functional alignment on technical and quality requirements. Experience Required: * Procurement experience within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or advanced engineering environments. * Experience managing high-value and complex supplier relationships. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. * Proactive, solution-focused approach with the resilience to manage competing priorities. * Collaborative and relationship-focused working style with a continuous improvement mindset. * MCIPS qualification, or progress towards qualification, is desirable. * Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline is desirable. * Experience using ERP systems such as SAP is desirable
