Purpose of the position * Commissioning of new products * Basic training on daily use for the customer * Servicing and Maintenance of existing deployed assets * On Call – troubleshooting & repair of installed products (once probation completed) Key Job Responsibilities /Activities Commissioning of new products * Apply installation & commissioning procedures on site * Test according to customer requirements following the prescribed method statement * Customise settings of UPS installations according to the environment * Update CIMSA and CIMeTECH databases Servicing & Troubleshooting of installed product * Troubleshooting of all installed SOCOMEC equipment, diagnostic of installations * Execute curative maintenance operations * Diagnose installations * Provide feed-back on recurrent problems to Technical Operational Support (TOS) * Servicing: execute preventive maintenance operations as per specifications (replacement of usable components) Customer and distributor training * Run training sessions * Customer: Provide basic information on daily use of the machine * Liaise with customers (grow a sustainable relationship). * Distributor: Increase technical level of distributor through training * Additional tasks as required in line with Education & background required * Technical degree in electrical engineering or Equivalent years of experience * Good communication and commercial skills when in front of customers Skills requirements * CIMSA, CIMeTEC & SoHelp databases to be updated
