Role Overview Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems and associated power equipment across customer sites nationwide. Key Responsibilities * Install, commission, service, and repair single/three-phase UPS systems. * Carry out PPM, battery testing, load bank testing, and fault diagnostics. * Perform site surveys, RAMS, and technical reporting. * Provide onsite customer support and technical advice. * Travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays; participate in on-call rota. Skills & Experience * Proven experience working with UPS systems (APC, Riello, Eaton, Vertiv, etc.). * Strong electrical engineering background; capable of reading electrical schematics. * Knowledge of AC/DC systems, battery types, and power distribution. * Competent with electrical test equipment. * Full UK driving licence. Desirable Qualifications * NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent. * 17th/18th Edition (BS 7671). * UPS manufacturer training. Personal Attributes * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Customer-focused, professional attitude
