The Role
- We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join an established electrical engineering business delivering installation and electrical infrastructure projects across industrial and renewable energy environments.
- This is a hands-on installation-focused role, suited to electricians who are comfortable working in demanding industrial environments and who take pride in delivering high-quality, compliant electrical installations.
- The role will involve working as part of a skilled site team, carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning and associated works across a range of industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out industrial electrical installation work to a high standard.
- Install and terminate electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated systems.
- Work from electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.
- Identify and resolve installation issues on site.
- Assist with commissioning and fault-finding activities where required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, specifications and project requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician with relevant industrial electrical experience.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent recognised inspection and testing qualification.
- Demonstrable experience working on industrial electrical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and safe working practices.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working on active construction, industrial or renewable energy sites.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within renewable energy, utilities, energy infrastructure or large industrial projects.
- Experience with HV/LV electrical systems.
- Experience of commissioning and electrical testing.
- Additional electrical qualifications or site competencies.
- Experience working within structured permit-to-work and electrical safety systems
